Air purifiers
Household
air purifiers are meant for removing dust, unpleasant
odours, cigarette smoke, house dust mites, pollen and
so on. In any kind of air purifier polluted air is sucked
in by a ventilator and through a system of filters supplied
to a room now suitable for breathing. Correspondingly,
a filter (or a system of filters) is the centerpiece
of an air purifier. It's the quality of filters that
determines degree of purification and the difference
between numerous brands of air purifiers.
Industrial air humidifiers
Industrial
air humidifiers are used mainly in production facilities.
It is notably typical of textile and leather industries
where a definite level of humidity must be maintained
in larger-volume rooms. Some more examples of need in
industrial humidifiers are printing houses (where the
quality of produce greatly depends on normal and what
is more important – stable humidity) and greenhouses.
Household air humidifiers
In
wintertime air humidity indoors is significantly below
the normal level (60%). And in consequence we have to
face dry skin, disposition to allergy, feeling of tiredness,
dried up plants, spoiled furniture, musical instruments
out of tune. Humidity is normalized with air humidifiers.
Dehumidifiers
Too
high humidity is as harmful as too low one. Dehumidifiers
are used for normalizing humidity when it is too high.
Dehumidifiers work similarly to air conditioners: indoor
air comes into contact with a cold evaporator is condensed
and drips into a pallet. Treated air returns than to
the room. Household dehumidifiers (for treated area up
to 30 m2) are more common as well as semiindustrial
ones, for example for swimming pools.
Ionizers
Air
ionizers are special devices that increase the amount
of anions that are beneficial to human health. Anions
improve lungs functioning, stimulate blood circulation
and protect the respiratory system from some diseases
(asthma, pneumonia and so on). It is a well-known fact
that the air near waterfalls, fountains and deep in
the forest is rich in anions. People feel surge of
vitality and cheerfulness there. That is namely why
air conditioners with air ionizing, the Chizhevsky
chandeliers and usual air ionizers have become so popular
lately.
