Russian Association of Climate Industry Professionals (APIC)
Acknowledging
the existence of mutual tasks and necessity of joint efforts for
their solution, in May 1997 a number of Moscow companies dealing
with heating, conditioning and ventilation equipment in the Russian
market, initiated the creation of the first professional HVAC Association
in Russia. The Association of Professional Companies in Industry
of Climate (APIC) was registered in September 1997. For the time
being APIC incorporates more than 100 companies including leading
HVAC manufacturers' representatives, equipment distributors and
wholesalers, service providing companies, contractors etc.
The mission of APIC is the following statement: “To Support Association Members in attracting and servicing their customers with highest professional level”
The aim of the APIC activity is:
- Maintaining the highest standards of the equipment and service work offered to the end customers based on the skills of participating Companies;
- Introduction of the latest technology to the market;
- Support, education and training of people inside Russian HVAC business;
- Publishing market-orientated quaterly magazine “Mir Klimata” (“World of Climate”) since March, 1999 and newsletters for HVAC professionals in Russian language;
- Research and development of the air conditioning market in Russia;
- Cooperation with Certifying Authorities and Organizations;
- Adherence of the principles of fair competition between the companies on the market.
Companies-members of APIC carry more than 60 percent of the AC equipment imported and represent most of Manufacturers and Brands appeared on the Russian market. A unified database of climatic equipment and subjects of this market sector has been created, regular monitoring and independent marketing research of the Russian HVAC market is being carried out.
Any Russian or foreign HVAC-orientated company may become a member of the APIC if it agrees to maintain Association principles, accepts Code of Professional Conduct (APIC Ethical Code since 2000), has trouble free experience in the field, qualified stuff and obtains high-rate recommendations from APIC members.
Association of Climate Industry Enterprises is always opened for the cooperation and information exchange with related Associations, Authorities and Manufacturers in order to provide APIC members with direct access about the technology, equipment and service news.

In 1999 EUROEXPO started its own exhibition program, developing trade fairs, such as "Domestic Construction Materials" together with the Moscow City Government (Department for Urban Architecture, Construction and Development) and “Furniture of Russia”, an annual event which attracts increasing numbers of exhibitors and visitors.
In August 2000 Euroexpo has become a member of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is an active member of the International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs since 2000.
