Greeting of Director of the UNIDO Centre for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation

To the organizers of Climate World was addressed a letter from the UNIDO Centre for International Industrial Cooperation in which a high opinion of Climate World project and its role in the Russian HVAC industry were expressed and support to forthcoming Climate World-2011 was voiced as well as cooperative attitude within the scope of implementing the project of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology and UNIDO for HCFC phase-out on the territory of Russia was announced.

On behalf of the UNIDO Centre for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation I would like to greet participants, organizers and visitors of the seventh international specialized exhibition Climate World.

Climate World is the largest trade show in Russia which has for seven years already been giving new momenta to the development of the Russian HVAC industry. Leading manufacturers and distributors, installation, design and engineering companies of the Russian market participate the show. Its intensive business program makes it possible to discuss such industry-critical issues as the state and future development of the HVAC market, diffusion of energy-saving and environmental technologies, preparation of industry standards, specialists’ training and professional development, self-regulation, HVAC equipment verification.

The organizers of the show - the Association of Professional Companies in Industry of Climate and Euroexpo exhibition company - decided to hold a conference dedicated to HCFC phase-out on the territory of Russia within the scope of the exhibition. The corresponding project is being implemented by UNIDO together with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. Concurrently with the conference, leading industry associations and self-regulated organizations will hold meetings to discuss this project which is of great importance for Russia.

Taking into consideration the above as well as the importance and scale of the show for the HVAC industry, the UNIDO Centre for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation decided on the support to holding Climate World.
