Журнал "Мир климата" - все о климатической технике: кондиционеры, вентиляторы, обогреватели, VRF-системы и многое другое.
In the nineties, the companies worked in the field of air conditioning, ventilation, heating and refrigeration, and with the engineering systems in general, were considered to be a representatives of only a small segment of the construction market. The best illustration of this fact was that HVAC&R companies had only small and isolated booths in all kinds of construction exhibitions. As the market grew, HVAC&R business grew along with it. As a result, in Russia strong specialized HVAC&R companies have formed. Before 1998, there was a certain professional specialization of the companies, but the impact of the crisis forced them to think about the diversification of production and services as an effective way to survive in tough business times. Still having the priority areas of work, HVAC&R companies began to penetrate adjacent market sectors, providing clients with a full range of services. In the HVAC&R business appeared first holding companies, where well-known trade mark became a some kind of an “umbrella brand” for a number of companies within a group, which was able to design, deliver, install, carry out commissioning and maintenance of practically any type of climate and refrigeration equipment. A little later, Russian HVAC&R companies began to show interest in manufacturing of some components. The increase of customs duties made imports of air-ducts, as well as some components of ventilation systems and refrigeration equipment unprofitable. That defined the main priorities in the manufacturing program of the industry. For a number of reputable companies, manufacture became the basis of their business in the market of climate and refrigeration systems. At the same time they didn’t give up the traditional forms and areas of work.
Today we can say with sure that there is a developed HVAC&R market in Russia. This market has its own features, goals and objectives. There are a variety of companies at this market, and these companies have common problems and common benchmarks. Some leaves the market, some comes into the market. But there is a clear trend of industry growth, which, in turn, is less dependent on the changeable weather and "big brother" in the face of the construction industry.
Due to the common interests and approaches to work, companies in the industry obviously came to the creation of professional association aimed at protecting their interests in dealings with customers, official bodies, manufacturers and competitors, i.e. a kind of collective manager who deals with common issues of the market and who is good for all HVAC&R community. This way APIC was created fifteen years ago. Now APIC is also engaged in phasing out HCFCs, labeling of energy efficient equipment and creating a new regulatory base for the industry.
Naturally, with some time the member companies of APIC began to realize the need for its own exhibition, focused primarily on the Russian customer. To solve the issue them helped ZAO "Euroexpo", also the Russian company, which is one of the three largest Russian exhibition companies. The joint efforts of the industry professionals and professionals of the exhibition business resulted in founding of the largest professional HVAC&R exhibition in Russia "Climate World". This exhibition for eight years brings together experts in air conditioning, ventilation, heating, refrigeration and automation of the 300 companies, which represent more than 30 countries and work in the Russian market. According to experts, the project "Climate World" is one of the most successful and fast growing exhibitions in Russia. Since 2005, the project "Climate World" is in a list of the major exhibitions of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs. In 2012 it will obtain the status of «UFI Approved Event», which is assigned by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI, and confirms the highest level of event and the worldwide recognition of its high significance for the industry.
The exhibition is supported by the leading national associations and partnerships such as APIC, ABOK, NP "ISZS-Montazh," NP "ISZS-Proyect", as well as the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY) and the Center for United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Russia. As acknowledged by the participants and guests of the exhibition, "Climate World" is a major industry event of the year, a forum in which the vital issues of our market can be discussed and solved, the really good place for business meetings and negotiations.
At the exhibition "Climate World - 2012" for the second consecutive year will be held an International Conference under the auspices of UNIDO, GEF and Ministry of Environment and dedicated to issues of the phasing out of HCFC in Russia, including the most popular R-22. The conference, in addition to experts and scientists, will be attended by domestic and foreign producers of CFC, as well as Russian customs officials, who regulate the supply of refrigerants into the country.
At the exhibition will be held the annual meetings of the members of APIC and NP "ISZS-assembly", and also scientific-practical conference of AVOK. Within the framework of the business program would be discussed the topical issue of the HVAC&R industry in Russia: market research HVAC&R in Russia and abroad, professional training in the industry, experience of work within self-regulated organizations (SRO), regulatory and legal base of the industry. Special attention will be paid to manufacturers, which present new equipment of 2012 season.
At the same time, we would like to note that the exhibition "Climate World" faces with a some sort of unfair competence. From time to time there appear similar in theme exhibitions, organized by Russian and foreign companies, which have a very indirect relation to climate industry and industrial refrigeration. Organizers of such exhibitions realize that they can not fully represent the interests of the Russian HVAC&R community, and because of it these exhibition companies make desperate attempts to divide HVAC&R market into separate segments and try to oppose the various market segments against each other. They resort to different “dirty tricks” such as price dumping, change of image, names and sponsors, use of administrative resources, and even outright blackmail in relation to potential participants of the exhibition "Climate World". The Lord is their judge...
For our part, we simply offer a choice. On the one hand there is the fair "Climate World" with its eight-year history, the exhibition organized directly by the HVAC&R companies and which reflects their interests. On the other hand there are one-day projects. That is the choice between the honest work for the interests of the Russian market of air conditioning, ventilation, heating and industrial refrigeration on the one hand, and satisfaction of some ambiguous private commercial ambitions on the other. It means the choice between the participation in the numerous significant events within the same big exhibition, and participation in a variety of rather small exhibition projects focused on individual sectors of our market. Besides, the second variant is more expensive...
We sincerely wish you good luck!
