Журнал "Мир климата" - все о климатической технике: кондиционеры, вентиляторы, обогреватели, VRF-системы и многое другое.
Second International Exhibition "World of Climate-2006" was a good opportunity for participants and visitors to meet professionals of the market and potential customers of HVAC equipment and service, and was a really good ground for free communication and conversation.
For us, as the orginizers of the exhibition, the most interesting was opinion of the visitors and participants about the exhibition in particular, and about our business, trends and situation in the Russian HVAC market in general.
We were a little anxious because the new exhibition complex "Crocus Expo" was not well-known enough that time, and was situated rather far from the center of Moscow. It could have affected the number of visitors. We also felt a bit uneasy because we held that exhibition only for the second time. But despite all our anxiety the number of visitors exeeded all expectations - more than 12 thousand people visited the exhibition, it was one and a half time more than the previous year. We were also glad to see that there were almost no casual people and so called "vacuum cleaners" - "professional" idlers who visit all exhibitions indiscriminately. Almost all our guests came to exhibition on purpose, looking for information, partners or some specific equipment. So, from this point of view the exhibition was successful. The serious analysis of the statistical data and thorough study of all results is under way.
The first impression of many respondents about the exhibition is positive. They appreciated a good access road, no parking problems, spacious and well-equipped premises, interesting, comprehensive and well-designed exposition, well-organized space, good and convenient information system and the disposing to communication air of exhibition.
The Representative in Russia of Mitsubishi Electric Nikolay Miliuchikhin said, that "Crocus Expo" was better than "Expo Center" for many characteristics. The same opinion has Serguey Boyarshinov, the General Director of the company "Beaufort": "This ground is more convenient for exhibition. Less casual people come. Here are only those who are really interested in the subject of the exhibition". Indeed, even by naked eye you could see that despite free entrance and many visitors, among them were not many "collectioners" of plastic bags, booklets and souvenirs.
"...The exhibition is compact but capacious", - one of the visitors figuratively noticed. "Veterans" of international exhibitions stated that despite "World of Climate" was less than usually gigantic fairs held in traditional "exhibitional capitals" of Europe and USA, all world-leading manufacturers and the biggest Russian companies were represented. Organizers could attract main international HVAC companies, and the exhibition was a full-scale one.
The exhibition of the last year was a some kind of a "trial baloon" for a part of HVAC companies and members of APIC. Some of them followed the principle "Why not to try?" and took part in the project with "little force", some adhered to the position of a "spectator from the outside" and prefered a "proven choice". This year the situation has changed dramatically. "World of Climate" left the cradle and became an important event at the Russian HVAC market. This event unites all professionals of the climat industry, who do their business in Russia.
Many respondents noticed a quality progress of the exhibition as compared with the exhibition of the last year. They said that the center of the exposition activity of the HVAC companies evidently moved from Heat & Vent and SHK to "World of Climat". They marked that the matter was not only in a new modern exhibition ground with exhibition square at least two times more, but mainly in the increased prestige of the exhibition. Experts consider the exhibition to be a professionaly organized project, which is worth attention and expenditures. According to the opinion of the majority of respondents, the project makes good progress, and they believe that following exhibitions would be even more representative and profitable for participants.
