From March, 1 till March, 4, 2011, at IEC Expocentre, there will take place the 7th international HVAC exposition “Climate World-2011”. The main event of the industry is held with the support of the Council of Federation and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Climate World features not only the scope of the exhibit but its business program dedicated to the most topical issues of development of HVAC&R business in Russia.
Events of the Climate World 2011 business program will be held on the first three days — on March 1, 2 and 3. These days are Marketing Day, Standard and Certification Day and Ecology and Energy-Efficiency Day.
The agenda of the first day of the business program includes a review of the Russian HVAC&R market in 2010 and development forecast for 2011. APIC will render a report on work with Russian ministries and industrial groups on such issues affecting development of HVAC&R business in Russia as ecology and energy efficiency.
The project for voluntary equipment certification by manufacturers — “HVAC&R equipment verification” — will be covered in detail. The project methods and stands have been developed by APIC technical experts with direct involvement of air curtains’ manufacturers. OOO Izhevsk Factory of Heating Appliances, Olefini S.A., Antares, Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol, Aeronik, 2VV, Rustropik, Frico and NPO Teplomash are its participants.
The agenda of the first day also includes speeches of experts of APIC marketing division, analysts of Litvinchuk Marketing and representatives of manufacturing companies working on the Russian market.
The meeting of APIC Manufacturers’ Club will close the first day; its long standing members being Carrier, Clivet, Daikin, Dunham-Bush, Danfos, Galanz, Gree, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Hitachi, Midea, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy, Remak, Sanyo, Toshiba, Thermocool, and largest OEMs.
The agenda of the second day includes presentation of new documents of the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY) and National Association of Designers (NOP) prepared with participation of specialists of NP ISZS-Montazh, NP ISZS-Proyekt, APIC and ABOK:
There will be presented new training and professional development courses as well as certification programs for SRO specialists developed by APIC and ABOK.
With consideration of the entry list and targeting of Climate World 2011, UNIDO and the Ministry of Natural Resources decided upon holding within the framework within the business program the conference dedicated to HCFC phase out and introduction of energy efficient HVAC&R equipment using environmentally safe refrigerants in Russia. Public hearings on this project organized during the conference will provide the basis for elaboration of a national strategy.
The agenda of the conference includes speeches of representatives of UNIDO and the Ministry of Natural Resources, global and Russian environmental organizations as well as of industry experts and representatives of the largest international manufacturers of refrigerants and HVAC equipment.
There will be discussed not only specific legislative measures to limit HCFC use but such most crucial issues of our industry as building up of ODS disposal facilities and measures to stimulate use of natural refrigerants. Issues of grouping the HCFC regeneration and recycling market, transfer of energy-efficient technologies to Russian manufacturers and HCFC phase out advocacy will be touched upon, too.
On March 1 and 2, simultaneously with the business program of Climate World exhibition, there will be held the International Forum of Innovative Housing Projects. The Council of Federation initiated the holding and sent the Commission for Housing Policy Utilities Services to participate in the event. The International Forum of Facilitation to Modernization and Innovation in Russia — its chairman emeritus being Sergey Mironov, Chairman of the Council of Federation — is the organizer of the event.
This forum is aimed to facilitate modernization and introduction of new technologies in the construction and housing and public utility sectors of the Russian economy and to invite foreign technologies and investments into these sectors. The agenda includes discussing modernization of available housing, push of energy-efficient and innovative technologies in the housing and public utility sector, options of social and economic partnership between government bodies, business structures and non-commercial organizations, measures to stimulate investments into the housing sector.
Participation in the business program is free of charge. We will organize live webcast of all the events, so that auditors could ask their questions to speakers.
The Climate World 2011 business program is not something purely theoretical or not related to life; it is the reflection of vital needs of our business aimed at finding the ways of addressing those needs.
