Distinctive Features of the Climate World Exhibition

Climate World Exhibition is the main exhibition for the Russian HVAC&R industry.

To confirm it, we can furnish lots of proofs. Here are some of them:

  • Climate World is an international exhibition, but it's mainly devoted to the Russian market.

  • Climate World is called an international exhibition for a reason. Its scale, list of participants and guests, and range of discussed issues regarding the world market make it such. Nevertheless we do not copy MCE international exhibition (Milan), nor China Refrigeration (China), nor Chillventa (Nuremberg), nor any other international projects. Our goal is the Russian HVAC&R market.

    Our market is one of the world's most perspective markets both in terms of volumes and growth rate. This market has its stakeholders, rules, traditions, and further development objectives. Those are the subject of Climate World project. We promote advanced equipment and technologies. We help foreign manufacturers enter our market and understand its specific character. And we help state bodies and business entities resolve serious issues regarding HVAC&R industry. We provide a ground for all participants of the Russian market to meet, and implement international projects, again, on the Russian territory.

    We believe that here, in Russia, we should talk about Russia and solve issues of the Russian industry.

  • It is the largest exhibition project of HVAC&R business in Russia in terms of the number of participants, visitors and the area occupied.

  • Climate World exhibition continues growing even during the crisis. Thus, Climate World-2010 exhibition covered 15,800 sq.m. 240 leading Russian HVAC&R companies representing 23 countries participated in it and 15,200 visitors attended the exhibition. For reference, in pre-crisis 2007 the exhibition area was only 12,500 sq.m., 228 companies participated in, and 13,500 persons visited the exhibition.

    The list of participants comprises distributors, equipment manufacturers, engineering, installation, and design organizations, branch associations, self-regulated organizations, international environmental organizations, branch mass media.

  • Climate World's visitors are decision-makers.

  • It is evident that we arrange a B2B exhibition.

    • 93% of visitors said they were drawn to Climate World by “professional interest”,
    • 53% are business owners or managers.

    The key visitors are representatives of distributors, retail and engineering companies, construction and mounting organizations, design organizations as well as large corporate customers.

  • Climate World Exhibition has long history.

  • This will be the seventh exhibition. The resolution on holding HVAC&R equipment exhibition was approved in 2004 at the historical meeting of the Board of Association of Professional Companies in Industry of Climate (APIC) and administration of EuroExpo exhibition company. In 2005, the exhibition successfully started on the area of 5,000 sq. m. By now, the area of the exhibition and the number of visitors have increased more than 3 times. Thus, our exhibition is one of the oldest and most dynamic specialized exhibitions held in our country.

  • Each year we offer new services for participants and guests

  • Each year, during and after the exhibition we use analytical data provided by our marketing agency, our journalists, obtained through questionnaire surveys and personal communication with leaders, managers, and visitors, to determine both shortcomings of the exhibition and receive suggestions for its further development. This is why if someone compares Climate World held in 2005 and 2011, he will be able to see that those are two different exhibitions in terms of service and attention paid to the needs of participants and visitors.

    • During this time we created one of the most successful HVAC websites with more than 8,500 pages. There we tell about participants and present their products and services. There operates a participant search engine by equipment or service; our partners and customers use it actively for their business purposes. Our site benefits not just during 3 or 4 days, but all the year round. The whole history and life of the exhibition are publicly accessible: business program presentations for any of the previous years, market analysis, picture galleries and participants’ interviews. In 2011 we intend to add video interviews and video translations, extend the industry news block, liven mailing sent to more than 20,000 portal subscribers;
    • The overall subscriber database for electronic and postal mailing by APIC and EuroExpo exceeds 70,000 addresses. Among subscribers are visitors of previous exhibitions, subscribers of Climate World magazine as well as subscribers of APIC corporate mailing and HVAC Business School mailing.
    • The whole year we print news of the exhibition participants in the leading branch edition ‘Climate World’ and in other partner editions and at HVAC&R industry portals free of charge.
    • We were among first to organize live webcasts from conferences.
    • We are launching the Contact Center. Now those provincial and foreign companies which could not attend the exhibition will be able to find a reliable partner among visitors of the exhibition by means of on-line applications and video meetings.
    • We have a press-center where participants can make photocopies, send faxes and access the Internet free of charge;
    • Each year we make agreements with leading marketing agencies, governmental bodies, branch associations, SRO, manufacturers and distributors on providing us with the topical information that can really be useful for the business program. Heads, leading specialists and experts of these organizations are regular participants of our conferences and symposiums;
  • Within the framework of the business program of Climate World the most important and topical industry-specific issues are discussed by persons who de facto exert an influence on the industry development.

  • Within the framework of the programme, only those issues are discussed which are of real importance for the Russian market and influence its development.

    In 2011 those will be issues regarding HCFC phase-out on the Russian territory, Russian legislation in the area of energy efficiency and low-voltage equipment, current state and perspectives of HVAC&R market development, activities of self-regulated organizations in the design and construction of engineering systems, development of new standards, branch-specific training and verification for HVAC equipment.

    Among participants of the business program are structures, organizations and branch associations which de facto exert influence on the resolution or elucidation of those issues: United Nations Industrial Development organization (UNIDO), SRO NP ‘ISZS-Proyekt’ and NP ‘ISZS-Montazh’, APIC, ABOK, leading manufacturers, marketing agencies specializing in HVAC&R industry analysis.

  • Ассоциация Предприятий Индустрии КлиматаOrganizers: APIC and EuroExpo - HVAC pros + exposition business pros

  • There is a good reason for our mentioning the partnership of the leading branch Association and the leading Russian exhibition company. APIC knows and resolves the problems of the Russian HVAC&R business. It founded a leading branch magazine, Business School for training industry specialists, several industry web-projects of various purposes, marketing agency and service which helps manufacturers to enter the Russian market. In collaboration with ABOK - another association which supports Climate World, we have established two SRO joining over 700 companies.

    ЕвроэкспоAPIC and ABOK are Russia's largest branch associations which take joint actions and solve main industry issues of Russian HVAC&R business.

    EuroExpo is Russia’s No.1 exhibition company. EuroExpo organizes largest domestic exhibitions; Sviaz-Expocom attended by the top officials of our country is one of them.

  • Climate World exhibition has no serious competing projects

  • Presently, Climate World exhibition has no serious competing projects.

    • Mosbuild is a large scale exhibition focused predominantly on construction industry needs. Currently, HVAC&R theme is not represented there.
    • SHK positions itself as a specialized exhibition of "plumbing, heating, air-conditioning equipment and utilities". Here, special priority is given to heating, energy efficiency and relevant engineering solutions. The basis of the exposition are stands of European companies (mainly, German ones). Traditionally, this exhibition features a strong and interesting business program dedicated to energy efficiency issues and organized by ABOK;
    • Aqua-Therm is the largest exhibition of heating, plumbing, water treatment and supply system equipment;
    • Mattex is an exhibition representing professional package solutions for water and gas supply, sewage collection, heating and dispatching control. It is a Climate World partner and is held concurrently with CW in the neighboring pavilion;
    • Moscow - An Energy-Efficient City’ (MEG) . One of the best industry conferences organized by ABOK. It is attended by representatives of federal executive bodies, heads of departments and prefectures of the city of Moscow as well as heads of regions. It is a sound and solid event but in the first place, it is a conference;
    • Presently, Chillventa-Russija is trying to position itself as a Russian version of the famous European exhibition, Chillventa. In fact, Chillventa-Russija is trying to copy over topics and dates of Climate World, however marketing laws state such solutions to lose (Do not copy the leader). That is why its organizers gained not very satisfactory experience in Russia: their HVAC&R projects never came to be successful.
